BLANCPAIN

Early in the 18th century, Jehan-Jacques Blancpain recognised the potential in what, at that time, was a completely new industry: watchmaking. In 1735 he founded the brand Blancpain and set up his first atelier at his house in Villeret in the Bernese Jura.

  Once the pioneering founder had registered Blancpain as a trademark in the district of Villeret, he cemented its place in history. In later years, the company would be known as the oldest watch brand in the world. Today, nearly 300 years of research, development and passion are invested into each and every Blancpain timepiece.
